The Halifax Resolves Chapter NC SAR has awarded Mr. Seth Warren, a Social Studies teacher at Roanoke Rapids HS, the SAR Silver Good Citizenship Medal “in recognition of notable services in behalf of our American principles”.  Mr. Warren has vigorously worked with the chapter by participating in the SAR Knight Essay contest, utilizing the NC SAR Speaker’s Bureau, organizing and advising students who write and conduct the joint flag retirements, in addition to mentoring students in and out of the classroom.  The Sons of the American Revolution are honored to work with such a dedicated individual. The medal was presented by Halifax Resolves Chapter President Ken Wilson.
