Mr. Edward Gardner, Roanoke Rapids High School World History teacher, recently invited NC SAR Halifax Resolves Chapter President Ken Wilson to speak to his classes about the American Revolution in North Carolina. Wilson presented a program entitled “From Mecklenburg to Halifax” to three classes.  In addition to the programs, Wilson also presented Mr. Gardner with several CD’s, DVD’s and booklets that the Sons of the American Revolution supplies to teachers at no charge designed to assist them in various ways in the classroom.
