Ms. Charman Pearson, the Social Studies teacher at Tar River Academy in Rocky Mount, recently invited Halifax Resolves NC SAR Chapter President Ken Wilson to speak to her classes about the significance of the dates on the North Carolina flag. The presentation, entitled From Mecklenburg to Halifax”, was presented to two different groups of students.  Ms. Pearson received a selection of CD/DVD’s from the SAR Educational Outreach program along with the SAR American Flag History and Etiquette booklet.
