    Click Here to find the form for presenting a wreath at the Virtual Zoom Heroes of the Hornets’ Nest Commemoration being held at 1:30 on Friday, February 12
    Wreaths will already be placed at the site and your name and the name of your chapter will be called during the Wreath Presentation portion of the program.  Feel free to pass the message onto another member of your group if you cannot present this time.

    Please complete the attached form and send to Compatriot Alan Smith at  as soon as possible.  You will receive notification of the link for the program closer to the date. 

    If you cannot present a wreath but wish to attend the Virtual Commemoration , please fill out the information below and send directly to Compatriot Rick Reese at   prior to February 7, 2021.  He will provide you with the link.

    Cordially invites you to a VIRTUAL commemoration of the 240th Anniversary of General Greene’s Historic Crossing of
    the Dan.

    The Crossing of the Dan, now accorded national status by the NSSAR, commemorates the momentous retreat of General Nathanael Greene’s American army through the Carolinas during the American Revolution and its narrow escape across the Dan River before British troops under Lord Cornwallis.
