The Le Marquis de Lafayette Chapter, NCSSAR invites you to attend, in person or virtual, the Commemoration of the 246th Anniversary of the Liberty Point Resolves on 12 June 2021, 10:00 am EST, at the First Presbyterian Church, 102 Ann St., Fayetteville, NC. 28301, or on Zoom.

With the Forth of July Holiday right around the corner, many organizations will be displaying American Flags to celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Sandhills SAR Chapter is offering a FREE Public Service Class on the Proper Handling, Displaying, and the respectful Retirement of a weather worn American Flag This class maybe helpful to Girl Scouts, Boy Scout Troops, Public Service organizations, patriotic and Veterans organizations, and interested home owners. Children are always welcome.

Second Annual Celebration of the Battle of Rockfish
The Col. Alexander Lillington Chapter will host the second annual celebration of the Battle of Rockfish at 10:00, Saturday, August 15, 2020. The ceremony will be held outdoors at the monument. Location: Hwy 11 about 500 ft. from the junction with Hwy 117, Wallace. This is outside with plenty of room for social distancing. Due to the pandemic, the ceremony has been shortened and no other activity planned.
