Join us for an evening with Chief United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina Frank Whitney as he takes us on the hunt and recovery of North Carolina’s original copy of the state’s Bill of Rights.
Many of you have never heard of this story much less the incredible details involved with what happened to the original copy, where it went and how we got it back!
Judge Whitney tells the story with his warm sense of humor and a true storyteller’s style that will have you on the edge of your seat and filled with history you never knew existed! Judge Whitney is a retired US Army veteran (COL) of the Iraq War and is a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal.
Dinner will be $34 for adults and $17 for children.
