The Halifax Resolves Chapter NC SAR and the Shocco Creek Chapter NSDAR will conduct a Patriot Grave Marking ceremony on Saturday, October 16^th.

This ceremony will honor Patriots Anthony Winston and his son John. Their graves are located on the grounds of Long Mill Elementary School, 1753 Long Mill Rd., Youngsville, NC 27596.  The ceremony will begin at 10:00.

Following the ceremony, a Dutch Treat lunch will be held at the Hometown Cafe,  3370 US #1 Highway,  Franklinton, NC 27525.  Some additional eateries are :

The ceremony will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, 1818-1828 NC Hwy 39N at 2:00.  Due to scheduling conflicts and additional information concerning members of the now defunct Harrison Macon Chapter NC SAR, the list of honorees has changed.
