First North Carolina Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. Chartered 21 April 1928 in Asheville, North Carolina, and later became the Blue Ridge Chapter.
Sometime within this next week, all Blue Ridge Chapter members will receive a request for the 2023 Sons of the American Revolution membership dues. As you may or may not be aware, the State of North Carolina will be hosting the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. It will be held in Greensboro, North Carolina (more on that at a later date). In an effort to defray some of the cost the NCSSAR will incur hosting this magnificent event, all North Carolina Chapter members are asked to donate just $5.00 per year. The 2022 assessment for the Blue Ridge Chapter was graciously paid for by 50-year SAR member, Registrar, Mike Burkhart. Thank you for your generous donation, Mike Burkhart.
Pictured below, is a copy of the 2023 membership dues request. Please note that although the membership dues have not increased, we are asking for $5.00 for the 2023 membership dues. The amount collected for this will go directly to the NCSSAR and be applied to assisting them with the expenses for the 2026 convention in Greensboro North Carolina. Also, any additional donations to the Blue Ridge Chapter to cover any unforeseen expenditures will be greatly appreciated. It is worth noting that the Blue Ridge Chapter is one of the busiest chapters in North Carolina and wants to continue to be so. To see a copy of the 2023 dues, please click on the link shown below.
As all dues paperwork must be submitted by December 1, 2022, all dues must be paid to the Treasurer by November 15, 2022.
Many, many thanks for your prompt and generous donations.
