Capitol:

  • Replicas of Historic Early American Flag Display
  • A new exhibit, "Inflamed by Spirits: North Carolina's Role in Temperance and Prohibition" Self-guided Tour of Capitol- (Docents on site to answer questions) East Grounds:
  • Join in a variety of activities and games!!!
  • Pie the Redcoat, Washington
  • Photo Op, Dress in 18th Century Clothing, Quill Pen Writing
  • 1:30 p.m. Watermelon seed spitting contest-please sign up at the Information Table.

Information Table:

  • 1:30 p.m. Join us for the free birthday cake to celebrate our country’s birthday!!!

  • Carriage Rides in circle drive by J & L Carriages
